Group Meditation & Deep Relaxation Classes (Online)
Join me for a chill evening wind-down as we prepare for a peaceful night’s sleep, letting go of the stress from the day.
Practice in the comfort of your own home and your own space: you’re welcome to bundle up in your comfiest clothes or PJs. You will need to be in a place where you won’t be disturbed for 30 minutes, either in your bed, on your sofa, on your yoga mat. Depending on the practice, we will either lay down or sit up.
Meditation, Mindfulness and Deep Relaxation are simple, useful practices that will improve your physical and mental health: they are known to help with chronic pain and other stress or anxiety-related disorders. These practices make us more aware of our inner world, of our experiences, feelings and emotions: we learn to observe these with acceptance and non-judgement, looking to understand their causes and consequences as natural. By accepting your experiences—including negative ones—rather than react to them with aversion and avoidance, we re-wire our brain and are able to have an easier time going through life.
Online Classes are held through Zoom, and they are divided into 6-week courses. During the course, we will explore different types of guided meditation, including Yoga Nidra, or deep relaxation/yogic sleep.
Each class will start with a brief session of Pranayama, or breathing exercises, to help settle the mind and prepare for stillness.
